Now yer talkin', Penny.

...Truly, though, I hope she's not being too serious there about wanting to re-outfit her "pretend girlfriend."

XD Poor Aggie.
But yeah, this can't be helping her feel better, considering she already thinks Penny brainwashes her objects of affection.

I love this.

(And there's exactly what Aggie was worried about and if they get this out of the way now it has a much harder time of biting them later.)

I actually like the idea that Penny seems to relish making her uncomfortable. I think that's the real point of this one.

I still don't get what's so "settled". There wasn't a smooth segue from yesterday's conversation to today's unless I'm being obtuse.

I believe Aggie asked Penny for help with her video offscreen.

Also, yeah, Penny doesn't listen real well. Aggie's already scared because no one's really pursued her before, which is unnerving to start, and then it's Penny, who seems to 'makeover' people into her image, an image Aggie isn't likely to embrace.

Aggie was talking about her film in the last one, Penny was like 'I'll support you in your film even if you don't bang me' at the top of this one and Aggie became extremely uncomfortable when the sexings were mentioned/implied and was like 'UH YEAH OKAY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP CHANGE OF SUBJECT NOW PLEASE' which lead directly into Penny's 'appealing image'.

On a personal note, I am really loving this side of Penny. I just finished an archive binge (trying to find previous mention of Aggie's film - I did not), and she came off as much more of a bitch than I had previously thought of her being. It's good to see her being human, even if she is being a dick to Aggie (but it's okay because it's the socially-acceptable lewd kind of dick, everyone knows at least one of those [If you don't, that means you probably are the dick of your social circle]). I agree with you in that she's mostly trying to make Aggie uncomfortable with all her lewdness, but I think this WILL lead into a discussion of Aggie's fear of Penny 'changing her' (as if no one leaves a relationship entirely unchanged for the experience. Ha!) at best, or at worst into a quiet internal confirmation of said fear.
But Aggie was never any good at internalizing emotions and feelings ("Worse than Hitler!", when she blabbed to the fed about Brandi branding Xena, and during the play when she has to count to one hundred to stop from making another scene 'twixt her and Penny before still shouting out an insult to Penny's long-departed image are some examples that come to mind. I'm sure there are plenty more to be found). So I don't think this worst case internalization will happen.

But good lord, I am dying to see Monday's continuation of this delicious dialogue.

Penny found a button that works real well.

She should be careful with that last bit, but I think she honestly wants to push Aggie into being a little more daring, but still have Aggie choose the style and how far to go. She wants to push Aggie a little, but not nearly as much as Aggie fears. And I very much doubt the result will be anything like how Penny dresses.

Changing room could be fun, though. Penny's new button should work real well there.

Careful, Penny. Pushing that button in public probably gets you arrested.

In the previous thread there was a discussion over whether Penny knew about the issues Aggie was having with their potential relationship. I think this comic answers that question quite decidedly; Penny would not attempt to push a new wardrobe on Aggie right now if she knew.

Hopefully, Aggie takes this as a good chance to segue into the discussion they need to have for this to work.

Penny's expressions (and Aggie's responses) in panel two onward are all golden, and pretty much establish that Penny is going to be wearing the pants in this relationship (unless and until Aggie decides to set boundaries).

They also establish that Penny knows this... and likes it. Hopefully she won't push this too far.

BTW... Jason, the facial expressions in tonight's strip are spot-on and delicious. Take a bow. ♥

This may be my favorite P&A installment ever, even over the kiss.

The playfulness, the facial expressions, everything.

Just a perfect page.
I cannot guarantee I was sober at the time of posting this.
