It is sad, but it's great to learn more about Fred instead of him just being the supportive gay friend who always looks on the bright side. I was happy to see he's got his own concerns and issues. I wonder if that makes me a bad person.

And it looks like Miss LifePlan does have some sort of plan. But what is it that she hopes Sara doesn't bail on?

Yeah, this is what I had pretty much figured. Fred was really, really looking out for Aggie, but is still open to the idea of P&A.

T..............before you drop the curtain on P&A............get Fred a guy. Intro a new character, have someone we already know kick open the closet door (Duane, maybe?), but get him someone.

We're sure seeing different sides of him, this arc. :idea:

But not inconsistent with what we already know about him:

1 ) Cares deeply about his friends

2 ) Has been single all this time despite being handsome, kind, witty and likeable

Heh, heh! Pretty sure Duane's straight. But maybe certain people on both sides of the fourth wall might turn out to be right about Stan? (I doubt that either, but given the Rich thing it's within the realm of possibility.)

Sara may not be dumping Daphne per se, she may just be finally telling her about Lucy and assuming dumpage will occur, one way or the other.

Until he actually plants one on someone of his own sex, I'm not buying the "STAN'S IN THE CLOSET" theory. He liked hanging with Rich. Most teenage guys would love to run with a "hood".

I don't buy it either. The bit with him imagining himself in drag and in Rich's arms was...striking, but arguably could be a metaphor for a very strong "leader" identification. We'll see (or not) by the end, I guess.
