Randomly listening to my music collection can lead to the weirdest ideas sometimes. So here, is a possible song for Mr. 'Creepster Magoo' Sims and Mrs. Sims. It's from her pov, reflecting on their youth and primarily their daughter, and how it all went wrong.

I always think of Penny/Aggie when I hear this song, but I don't think I'd call it their song. More like a song to the shippers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljhm-gJ9RRw

Duane x Charlotte: "Less Than Three" (speedycake remix)

Definitely the title "The Last Summer of Youth" makes me think of Dirty Dancing and "The Time of My Life" (for Agenny of course.) I think it would be a perfect sendoff, whatever course the plot takes from here.
You will however contemplate bleating like a goat for IRONICALLY HUMOROUS purposes at a later date.

It's ironic that I can quote songs on the drop of a hat but can't come up with decent songs for everyone right now.
Charisma to Nick: All I wanna do is make love to you ~Heart
Nick to Charisma: Spend one mor minute with you ~Weird Al Yankovic
Katy Ann and Jack: Stand By Your Man ~some female country singer whose name eludes me
Charlotte and Nerd Boy: Lovesong ~the Cure
Sara and Daphne: Scotty doesn't know ~soundtrack of Eurotrip
Aggie to Marshall: Bang Bang ~soundtrack to kill bill

It's all I can think of for now.

Piffle. Entirely too much seriousness in this thread. Even Paps missed a couple of real gems!

For example, the Levacs: Joe Cocker version of Randy Newman's "You Can Leave Your Hat On"

Agenny from Penny's point of view: "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls

From Aggie's: "Creature of the Night"

The fun comes in when they're arguing over who has the 'right' song.

Heh, heh. You say, sgtrock, sir, that we're being too serious in our choices, but your suggestions are still ones that fit the characters, as they are now, perfectly: The Levacs, with the renewed energy and playfulness in their marriage (I can totally see either Lynda OR the New, Improved Rob stripping to that song in a way both funny and arousing to the other). Penny, with her many erotic dreams of a certain type, finally deciding to lose the Manmeat Monthly the next time she has one and just let her hand go south beneath the sheets with no "aid" other than her thoughts of Aggie in a silk teddy. Your pick for Aggie is a little more outré, true, but I could still see Aggie conjuring up her early daydream of fangy Penny (perhaps minus the other fangettes), only with pleasure instead of horror. "Creature of the Night," indeed...like Vampyros Lesbos if it'd been made with gay or bi women in mind rather than straight men.

Hey, I already claimed that for Jacky-Ann! :P (You can't tell me those two aren't responsible for a massive spike in Jergen's Hand Lotion sales in the Belleville area....)

I think Penny should go with "I Want You to Want Me" by Cheap Trick, instead.

Oh, and to my eternal shame, I must now cop to getting Whitney Houston and Tina Turner mixed up; obviously, yes, the latter was the singer of "What's Love Got to Do With It?"

I see no reason why Jacky-Ann wouldn't be willing to share such a deeply moving ballad with Penny. Especially one that to date has defined her relationship with Aggie so, so well!

Well, I thought the subtext of Columbia and Magenta was just too perfect to pass up. What can I say? I'm a sucker for hot, kinky, murderous, female aliens.

And now... I'm thinking of Katy-Ann AND Penny singing it with Jack simply there as a prop on stage.

I'll be in my bunk.
