CCS "shut down" a long time ago. What T and Gisele have been posting these last several weeks are bonus storylines which were created years back but for one reason or another weren't featured on the site. The upcoming (and concluding) story arc, however, will apparently be brand new. As for why...you'd have to ask them.

I'm gonna assume that they wanted to spend all their time on Penny & Aggie, and well, "Fans!" had ended, and "CCS" looked to be running out of stories to do anyways (the sudden drop-in of aliens and detectives seemed to imply that).

We have lots of new ideas we want to get to, with Penny and Aggie and otherwise. But we have... "unfinished business"... with Cool Cat Studio. What happens when Sophia's baby is born and Omnira's fetal interference is revealed? What happens to Bones and Michael when Omnira's "enemies" catch up with them? What happens to Belinda and Jeremy's orderly lives if their business is in serious trouble? And what is the truth about Liz?
