Overly cautious? He had Bob call 911 for a bit of a punch when he doesn't need anything but a hankie and an ice pack.

Y'know, if Ronnie had just given Michael a black eye or something, well, that's the kind of thing that can be smoothed over. But loss of consciousness can be a much bigger deal, the kind of thing that can involve a hospital visit. I guess the big question is, how far will Michael take this?

Arguably, he should've asked the standard "person, place, time and event" questions first, yes. But despite Michael, as I noted, being able to wisecrack, he looks woozy, and there's still the possibility he could lose consciousness (or lose it again...hard to tell here whether he'd been completely out and is just now coming to). So a 911 call doesn't hurt, and could very well help.

But yes, Hank should also be treating him for bleeding.

well he could choke on the blood from the bloody nose. while he could die from the internal bleeding from a concussion, thats extremly rare and there is probley nothing anyone could do anyway.
