Also, just on a personal bit of 'hahaha!', good lord, the director looks just like a friend of my parents. The same facial structure (adjusted for being drawn by Jason, vs being a real human being), the same hair and beard cut, the same pattern in his beard, the same glasses...

Taller, though.

Coincidence, I suspect, unless your parent's friend is English?

I wonder which is most likely to happen, Temperance having a successful audition and finding herself doing something, acting, she totally never expected, or turning into a blubbering mess and running off, not being able to talk to Sara for weeks. Assuming of course she's not into LIsa. Or that she's not Cyndi's cousin/ex-girlfriend/former victim.

Apparently Temperance is more nervous about being found out stalking than stage fright. Perhaps she has some prior experience.

Hey, so in panel 4, did Lisa just drop the script? No kidding about the overacting! :D

I did a little happy dance with clapping when I saw they were trying out with "Waiting for Godot." I enjoy this play and performed a few scenes for Speech club in high school as Estragon.

Do you think Temperance will do good or bad in her audition?

I think she may have stumbled into something she might be well suited for even if she never wanted it in the first place...her "undeclared" finally getting cleared up.

I think Temperance is going to get carried away by it - especially if the dialog speaks to her at all, and be jarred when the director yells "cut!". She'll have no real idea how she did, because she was in her own mental space while doing it. Then she may be surprised either way when does or doesn't get the part.
I love the self admonishment in her thought bubble there. The director totally would not have cared one way or the other, but she's certain that she's some sort of imposition.
