I just got my first Fleetwood Mac CD -- Rumours! It kept coming up on my Last.FM stream, so I thought I'd check it out.

Anyone else on Last? I know it's not as cool as Pandora, but it and SOMA.FM are my favorite streaming music sites.

oenone - your first Fleetwood Mac album? I thought all you had to do was leave a CD in the car and it gradually turned into "Rumours" (Fleetwood Macs most successful album, and one of their best too).

I have a pair of "companion" pieces to add to this. These are instrumental pieces from a game series called Super Robot Wars. Sadly, with the exception of two Game Boy Advance installments, and (so far) one Nintendo DS game, this series has never officially graced the North American continent. Well, except in fan-translation ROMs, but I digress a tad.

First up, the theme of Kyosuke Nanbu, pilot of the Alteisen*. This theme tends to cause me to have to keep a close eye on my speedometer when I've got it on in the car... XD

*German for "Old Iron."

One of many bands called "The Barbarellas." Not much I can confirm about this group because there have been a number of bands with this name or similar names. As far as I know, they had one album called "Queen of the Galaxy" (though if anyone knows if they made more, please do tell me). I describe them as if the Beach Boys and the B-52s gave birth to a girl band that sang about movie monsters, being in love, and being in love with movie monsters.
