Actually, given that Chrissie wasn't even looking in Lisa's direction and that there's quite a lot of people around, probably with a lot of ambient noise, I don't think Lisa could have even attracted Chrissie's attention without shouting at her really loud, which in turn would have also attracted a lot of other people's attention to the two of them and would probably have caused an uncomfortable situation for Chrissie.

And that's assuming Chrissie just plain hadn't noticed Lisa. If she had and deliberately steered clear of Lisa, that would make it an even worse idea for Lisa to try and communicate with Chrissie right then.

Edit: WTF, two typos? Fixed.

s/can sense/can't sense/ ?

Maybe she's hiding a "bulge" that won't go away?

 *cough* I mean I have no idea either.

I did mean "can sense," yes. For pretty much the reason you mention, although not so much that she actually has a bulge that won't go away. (That would be priapism, and extremely painful, requiring medical attention.) More like, "I'm afraid if I get another erection, it'll be as obvious to people as it was to Lisa."

Oh I see.

One more thing that surprises me about Chrissie is that apparently she doesn't know how to "tuck". Or maybe she does know but is unable to, for example because she very easily gets an erection.

(Men, I suggest you don't look up how tucking works. I can tell you it doesn't hurt, but I know it does hurt men who merely think about it.)

Well, I would hope that Chrissie is wearing a gaffe I think it's called. It's basically a sort of hard cup that is flush to panties to eliminate the bulge. Then of course, there's the tuck the testicles up into the body cavity and pull the penis as far back as possible while wearing tight panties routine.

I think that Chrissie wears the trench coat to hide. It's a way to feel safe and not feel ashamed of her body.

I think the point is that she probably isn't, from Lisa's quick catch.

...that's weird, now that I think about it. She's pretty clearly been on hormones a while - surely someone would have given her advice on this? Unless she's been self-medicating...?

It's possible to forget for a while. It isn't easy, but it can be done, and I think this is what Chrissie is doing with the trench coat. The problem is, that forgetful illusion gets shattered when she gets aroused.

Completely unrelated to anything anybody else has said, it's nice to see where on Lisa's head the dye starts.

That is precisely the thought that struck me when I saw this comic. You're fun, LeBubbles. I think we share a couple of similar brain cells.

But I already have a brain clone! D:

But that's the point of clones, you can have more than one. Like just imagine - a legion of Lisa and Sara clones... :D

I agree on the art. Something about Lisa's expression for today's strip just came across to me as "Wow. Amazing job, Jason, I think this is my favorite Lisa expression yet."

Perhaps, but even that may have been too soon. Chrissie's wearing a trenchcoat, in warm weather. We can sense why she's doing it, but that she is doing it, suggests that she may not be in the best frame of mind right now.

Unseasonal trenchcoats on campus worn by possibly disturbed individuals make me think "mass shooting imminent".

You've been brainwashed by Fox News, mindstalk. :) Also, timing.

Nah, you're exaggerating. Plus, the very next post below yours renders your advice irrelevant...
