Okay, I thought I wouldn't have anything more to put here for a couple weeks, but then I noticed a very nice bit of news.

That game is so overdue, Duke Nukem calls it vaporware.

I thought WoW was essentially DiabloRPG.

Nope, WoW was "hey, let's cash in on the MMO trend this part of the industry is taking, and let's use our series that already handles tons of characters at once." (Diablo's engine has never gotten to quite the same level of "hordes of things on the screen at once" that the Warcraft franchise has.) And lo, Warcraft was shamed, for it gave birth to a bastard gold-digger offspring and caused millions to neglect their family and friends even more than they already would have.

No, Diablo is Diablo RPG.

It's not a terribly complex one, so far as storyline or class progression (impressive gear variety, though...), but it is an RPG.

And WoW resembles Diablo only in that they're both RPGs.

Y'know, I had something to put here, but I don't remember it now. That's... hm.
Oh, uh, I have a water heater now. But it doesn't make hot water yet, for some reason.

Um, my boss (that was making jokes) is going to talk to the other guys next week about their jokes. So hopefully that issue will be 100% solved instead of its current 33%.

Also, one of my coworkers (that doesn't make sexist jokes) used the word "retarded," and I said, "Could you please not use that word?" And he immediately said sorry. I DIDN'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN OR ANYTHING. THIS IS HOW THESE THINGS SHOULD WORK. I shouldn't be required to tell you that my younger brother is mentally retarded and that you're taking your neurotypical status entirely for granted and that I will punch you. And if I do have to tell you that, you shouldn't continue by brushing it off, as has been my experience in the vast majority of cases where people use language like that. "I don't mean retarded like retarded." Really? THEN WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU MEAN?!

...This really is a happy thing, I promise, I just rage. ._. That's what makes it a happy thing, 'cause I shouldn't have to rage much more starting in the very near future.

EDIT: I REMEMBERED MY ORIGINAL HAPPY THING I WAS GOING TO SAY OMG. I got my check on Wednesday, and it ended up being about $100-ish more than I was expecting because I had like ten hours of overtime or something. IT WAS THE BEST.

Happy thing: My mom got about $7oo-something worth of backpay on her check this week. She was able to pay off a couple of bills and she also took me out to dinner last night since I'm pretty much broke. (She also bought me a toy apatosaurus when we were at the dollar store after dinner. :3 Yaaay dinosaurs~)

Happy thing: today is my birthday. I got this book. Fascinating, even though the bit I've read so far has been a summary of things I already know. I bet I'll learn something from the next 4/5ths.
