Probably a huge "I KNEW IT" in regards to Aggie and snickering about Penny.

Karen honestly avoided hearing much about Penny and Aggie after the popsicle days. She left that chapter of her life behind... on the surface at least.

So my question, and sorry if this has been asked before: Did Karen actually learn anything from all of it?

I'd think that, between the end of "The Popsicle War" leaving her friendless (not that, with the exception of Marshall, she had anyone who was really her friend, except maybe Yvonne with the beach house), and her going to a different school to Penny's and Aggie's, she would simply no longer have been in the loop on who was dating whom.

I don't know if I want to answer that one, honestly. There are times when I really wonder if I answer too many of these rather than letting the work speak for itself.

Is "sort of" an answer? She didn't go right back to scheming to be the biggest and best: she didn't hire a spy to assassinate Penny or smuggle weight-gain drugs into her food. But I don't think she really learned enough.

I, personally, think it's very important for people to both accept and expect that people who are like this are an obligatory hazard of life, so they can both learn how to deal with them well enough to avoid becoming victimized, and how to enable people who will learn to get what Karen won't to get ahead, in spite of the crap the Karen's of the world will make them wade through.

Yeah, I don't want to pursue this any further, really.

Iseul does. Sara is fairly firmly Americanized. She's picked up a very little here and there.

At the present time the events of Sara Kim's and Lisa Winklemeyer's university freshman year are taking place, both where are Xena Whatsername, Daphne Brooks, Samantha Evans, Helen Tomalin, Braz Tyler, Meg Macomb, Karen Duvall, Penny Levac and Aggie d'Amour, and what are they up to?

How many billions of times a day did Elmer's classmates ask to borrow his glue in grade school, and did that have any part in his personality issues?

Honestly, I haven't given those characters (except for Penny and Aggie) much thought since starting the new series. Xena and Helen are unlikely to go to college (Helen is still in Randy's hands and Something Positive is close to a real-time strip, so Helen is probably at Nerdrotica now.) Meg is a sophomore and still convinced she can turn this thing around. The others are freshmen. Braz is on an athletic scholarship. Karen's already picked a major. Sam's looking for a radical campus group to join. Daphne's got a lot of first-day anxiety herself. Penny and Aggie, well, I think you can infer the basics there: they are broken up and starting to pursue the paths that will lead to the end of their series.

I'm sorry, I don't get this one. (Glue-sniffing? If this is a reference, it's lost on me.)
