If it's not too much of a spoiler for the upcoming story, how badly did No Exit hurt and shake Sara? I came away from that storyline with the feeling it left some pretty bad emotional wounds on her that I get the impression she hasn't dealt with, and that some of her current behavior is an extension or result of not having dealt with it much yet.

I don't know if you can separate its effects on Sara from those of other events in her life. It gave her trust issues, but so did Daphne. It pushed her into a libido-shame cycle (get controlled by hormones, get ashamed as a result, let the self-loathing drive more hormone-controlled behavior, repeat), but so did Cyndi.

Hmm. So it sounds like all three of those put together made for a kind of "Trauma/Trust/General Issues congo line."

There are two other Latin phrases that I like to quote often: Carpe Diem and Caveat Emptor. The first means "seize the day" the second is "buyer beware." Although I like to jumble them into Carpe Emptor and Caveat Diem or "seize the buyer" and "beware the day."

Latin grammar fascist has to step in here. "Caveat emptor" means "let the buyer beware" -- "caveat" is subjunctive. The imperative would be "cave" (pronounced kah-way). "Caveat diem" would translate as "may he (or she) beware the day" or "let him beware the day."

"Sieze the buyer" would be "carpe emptorem" -- the object of the verb needs to be in accusative. "Emptor" can be nominative singular (a subject) or vocative "direct adsress), and attached to a command would have to be the latter. "Carpe emptor" is actually ordering the buyer to seize... something. There's no object to the verb.

Actual riddle-analysis:

Assume Katy-Ann is telling the truth: She and Aggie are innocent.
Aggie's statement is false, so Cyndi is innocent.
Cyndi's statement is false, so she did not Xena do it.
Xena says Cyndi is lying, which is true, ergo Katy-Ann cannot also be telling the truth. A + ~A = Paradox
Conclusion: Katy-Ann is lying.

Thus, either Katy-Ann or Aggie (or both) killed Stan. Per standard logic rules, Katy-Ann's statement is false if EITHER of them did the murder, or if they both did. The riddle does not contain enough information to be clear about which of those options is actually true.

The true statement, then, was made by Xena--Cyndi lied in accusing her.
