D'awww, Lily seems like such a good girl. ♥ And not spoiled or anything, judging from her reaction.

Twilight's reading a book.
Ponies being pretty badass.
The best song I've seen for Pinkie Pie.

I had today off. Can you tell?

Edit: PO-NY-MON.

Edit again: Okay, one more. Spoilers if you haven't seen the first episode of season two yet.

Okay, okay, ONE MORE and I'm really stopping this time. D:

Okay, this one was well made and got a chuckle out of me. That being said, Why can't you bronies leave my pokemon alone? Seriously, anywhere I go in the internets there's talk about pokemon, someone butts in with a brony comment. You are comparing Pokemon to a children's show!
(The last sentence is to show I do understand I am being somewhat irrational, but it just bugs me.)

I understand how you feel, man. I like the show and all, but it's super annoying when someone has to interject it into every single conversation. Like, if it comes up or if something reminds you of it, then it's fine, but sometimes it feels so forced.

My cousin, bless him, is the type to obsess over things that he likes, so he won't let it drop. We both love the Kingdom Hearts series (though it's totes gone downhill), and he used to always throw that into every conversation we had. After a while, it was like... can we talk about the weather or something?

It's a common bad habit amongst the geek set. Raise your hand if you know someone who ties everything into The Simpsons (although that's more mainstream than geeky) or Monty Python. Bonus points if, in the latter case, they then go on to recite the entire sketch or film scene, in an atrocious English accent.

For a little while there, I was having a hard time not bringing P&A up in every conversation with my girlfriend. Since she's started reading, she's happier that I don't do it all the time.

June 16, this movie about a murderer I know is about to be released. It's called "Bernie" and stars Jack Black as the title character.

Wow. Ok, Carthage is my hometown, and Linklater definitely has it pegged. Matthew McConaughey IS Danny Buck Davison, just 20 years younger and probably 100 pounds or so lighter. This town is psychotic in its redneck ways and the "good ol' boy system", so much so that most of the town was ready to let Bernie Tiede get off scott free for shooting an old women in the back with a rifle, just because the town loved Bernie and hated Marjorie Nugent, the rich old millionaire widow recluse. I knew Bernie personally, was friends with him somewhat, and he was the nicest, most generous, helpful guy you could ever meet. But unlike the rest of Carthage I thought he should fuckin' fry for what he did. I mean he stole an old lady's money and shot her in the back, for chrissakes.

Anti-homophobia "PSA"

Now, tell me, please. Is it just me, or is George doing two things here? (highlight to read it, I'm not giving it away to those who haven't seen it yet)
A. Basically playing to the hilt, the stereotype of "Depraved Homosexual."
B. Basically saying (in a tongue-in-cheek fashion), "I'm going to rape you."

Here are my thoughts:

B. AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA *choke* AHAHAHHHAAAHAAAH

Way back in 1985, there was a tv show hosted by four middle-aged men who were entirely unafraid of making fools of themselves.
Watch them "dance" in Vild och vacker.
