There's absolutely no credence to this pairing as of yet. While its true it was Lisa who showed Sara the light via that nose/kiss-rape thing, I think Sara was just having that reaction due to the fact that a) Lisa was a girl and b) Lisa was a girl of questionable orientation. Once Lisa introduced Sara to Daphne and Fred and the rest of the 'alternative' crowd, Lisa more or less completely stopped being in Sara's thoughts (as far as we know). Daphne popped up as 'the lesbian' and replaced Lisa in her teacher role.

And while Lisa has definitely shown a fondness for stringless meaningless hooking-up (or at least she has not shown a dislike for it, what with her summer camps and her fling with Stan), and thus would not be opposed to it, Sara hasn't shown anything of that sort, nor has she shown any romantic feelings for Lisa.

Although now that I'm thinking about it, I do recall that Sara was sorely tempted to have that little one night fling with Lucy at the motel, and she mentioned later on during that one IM conversation with Lucy that she did wish she had done the cheating, so maybe Sara isn't as opposed to it as I thought she'd be.

Either way, this early into Quiltbag, I doubt there'd be anything of that sort. Although T could pull it off if he did, tho.

That's possible. But remember that Sara kissed Lucy because she'd fallen for her romantically as well as sexually. So I took Sara's "Sometimes I still wish I'd done more than kiss you that night" to mean something like "If I can't have your love, at least I could've had one magical night with you." (Sorry for the corny phrasing there.)

We'll see where T takes Sara and Lisa in Quiltbag. My instinct says, however, not to get too excited about the possibility of anything more than short-term dating between them at most. I gather, from Sara having shown up to the reunion, six years later, without her S.O. ("This is not her thing") that in the future -uture -uture they either don't end up together (and thus Sara's S.O. is someone else) or they do, but not happily by that point. More likely the former. And frankly I think they work just fine as friends.

My thoughts too. I think it's inevitable that T will play with that idea (not soon, but he will). Whether or not he would have them DO something I don't know. He might. Nothing more than a one-night stand they never speak of again, if they do.

This, right here. This is something that people kind of forget in the middle of a brief moment of heat/passion/attraction/whatever you will, and they end up screwing up a perfectly serviceable friendship. Sometimes it gets easy to forget that just because something was felt, doesn't mean it has to be acted on. Now if it gets felt more than once, and in more than just one situation or set of circumstances, that might be a clue there.
