Jack looks like a waiter.
Like the older Duane look, and his Asian wife with the Mondrian dress -- well, it's an interesting choice to draw attention to straight lines with curves like that.

Jack's hair is totally out of spite to everyone who said "why do they all still have the same hair as at high school?".
I didn't even recognise it as Jack and had to assume it from the mention of kids. Frankly, even with the context of knowing it's Jack, I don't recognise him as Jack. (Did we ever know him previously as being into graphic design and writing? I do not recall this either).
I assume the girl with Duane is just meant to be a partner who (shock horror) he didn't meet at high school and is here to say "He didn't end up with Charlotte. Well, not yet."

Really like Duane's new look. Rrrowr. (Edit: And apparently, I'm not alone, eh ladies?)
Took me a few seconds to realize that was Jack in the last two panels. What with the hair, I thought at first I was looking at Stan. But then I was all, "Wait a minute...graphic design...little boy running from Katy-Ann straight to him...yeah."
