Penny knows the essentials of Rob's heart condition, but that didn't give him license to half give up on life. Their relationship is generally a lot better since he stopped doing that.

Regarding "Awakenings", as we've been going through P&A Plus - You note that Daphne hasn't been nearly as overt in her sexuality at that time as Fred has. Is there some reason she never made any overtures towards Aggie, given that she was 'hoping Aggie was third-season Willow'?

Daphne resolved not to make any passes until she could determine by observation whether or not Aggie was gay. Though she was almost 100% sure Aggie wouldn't hate on her for being gay, she was much less sure things wouldn't get weird between them. (And to be fair, things did get weird with Duane over his race, at least once.) Only after she saw Aggie's reaction to Sara's coming out did she decide to risk that.

Same reasons a lot of parents don't. Economics, time, desire to keep things simple, just never getting around to it. I was an only child until the age of eleven, so a one-child family never seemed like something that needed a lot of explanation to me. I admit we've got a lot of single-kid families in P&A (largely for reasons of narrative convenience).

Same reasons a lot of parents don't. Economics, time, desire to keep things simple, just never getting around to it. I was an only child until the age of eleven, so a one-child family never seemed like something that needed a lot of explanation to me. I admit we've got a lot of single-kid families in P&A (largely for reasons of narrative convenience).

People with more money tend to have fewer children, it seems. There are various explanations for it-- responsibility often shows itself in the form of financial stability, and responsible people often only have as many children as they feel they can adequately provide for. Or it could be that the more money a person has, the more often they're working, so the less time they have for extra kids.

Obviously, not -all- financially stable people or -all- responsible people follow that. Brandi's family, for example, has what, like, five kids?

I'm basing the "more money" thing on the fact that these kids are attending a private school. Not all private school kids are rich (for example... Rich), but they tend to be on a good financial level.

So I totally just gave T an excuse for all his single-child households.

Okay, so maybe one family is omgcrazywealthy. I 'unno.

Stan and Jack apparently have lived in the bad parts of town, so I'd say they're lower-middle/middle-middle class-ish. Aggie's living situation seems a little better than theirs, given that she apparently has her own credit card? (I can't find the strip right now, but she wears the same outfit as Penny just to embarrass her. Penny says, "How much money is in your 'humiliate Penny' budget?" Aggie responds with, "Let's see... What's my credit limit again?")

I would say Penny and Karen are about tied, above Aggie's level, but still not quite Cyndi's level.

Michelle has been painted as "the poor girl," which... I guess she's around Stan/Jack's level. As in, she is not poor, she's just not able to buy designer clothing whenever she wants.

Melody and her family were quite well-off. A single teacher's salary would not explain all the benefits we've seen Aggie enjoy.
