Showtime Big Daddy (1/27/12)

Hey it's a Shortpacked cameo! I recognize Jacob and Ethan, but who's the woman and the guy who resembles Dirty Harry?

If Rumy is attacking San Francisco it's safe to say she's thrown in her lot with the Hand of Justice. She might be trying to avoid too much collateral damage, but she's definitely on the warpath.

I'm gonna go with, "They say Lady of the Lake tried to take it back, but Rumiko Takahashi stared her back down under the water."

I thought it was one of many tools and talismens created by the God Machine that she used and didn't disappear after the machine was defeated.

*Blinks* Huh. But Rumi's had Excalibur for awhile since then--we saw it earlier after Rikk got diagnosed, too, IIRC. So... huh. Guess that's the real deal?

Remember, the Xenochiclets can create objects. Perhaps one of the AEGIS members really accurately described Excalibur to one of the chiclets, and they materialized it.

...Or they found the real deal.

I don't know where you guys are getting things like this. The Xenochiclets have never had the power to create objects. They can transport objects, which is sometimes almost as good, but no.

I'd assumed that Excalibur had been sitting in some FIB/AEGIS armory or evidence room, until Rikk 'borrowed' it during 'The Polygamists' to cheer Rumy up.

Yeah, that's what I thought was the case too (although I don't know if it went back for a while after being borrowed or stayed in their possession).

I thought that only applied to things within the machine. Thanks for clearing that up.
