Well. This just gets sillier and sillier, doesn't it.

Nazi geneticist is SO ANGRY! He's just ENRAGED to be sharing a panel with a rascally Chinee and a wall-eyed Arab stereotype, and is mixing those chemicals just as furiously as he can!

I never would've thought a story about a potentially world-destroying viral mutation could be so hilarious, but there you go.

According to Google, the only result for "Day of the Chimera" is an Invader Zim fanfic. Was it really already taken?

I think they're just referring to 'chimera' already being used to name a virus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_%28virus%29

I might be alone in remembering this, but there was this bit on America's Funniest People with this "jackalope" and it was voiced by Dave Coolier. When I was young I thought it was funny, but looking back it was all quite stupid.

As far as experts on chimeras go I wouldn't rule out Shou Tucker being involved.

I remember that as well. As since I also remember it being funny, I'm not going to go back and watch it (learned my lesson with some of my old cartoons).
