Critical reaction so far seems very mixed. It was much more positive for Episode VIII, making critics, along with Tamar and me, among the few people on the planet who liked it. So for IX, that's either a very bad sign or a potentially good one?

An acquaintance of mine described VII as the least predictable SW film, this being its strength. I'm inclined to agree.

They really should have nailed more things down in advance, though. Rey's ancestry, for instance....
