And that was Penny and Aggie. I still think this was the fairest way for T to end the series, given that the proportion of pro-Agenny to anti-Agenny readers was roughly equal. Besides, as T wrote here shortly after the conclusion, it wasn't the title characters' romance that was the point of the comic, but their overall changing relationship and how it changed them as individuals and helped them both discover who they were.
