Is there a way to send presents...

Postby Valerie » Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:26 pm

...without asking for a person's address and seeming like a total creeper? I know money can be sent, but I'm talking about physical objects.

I think with a place like Amazon you can send items from a person's wish list without knowing their address, because it'll look it up on their account without telling you. If there's no list or something at a place for you to send it through... I don't know, gift certificates? Ship to a store near them? Meet at a place and hand it over in person?

I am almost half certain that there's a way you can send a package to the USPS or probably some other delivery service In their hometown with just a name and maybe some sort of verification method, like their ID or maybe a password phrase or something? Dunno.

Then just tell them it's there anonymously somehow and let them go pick it up.
The story's told, with facts and lies, I had a name... but never mind.

Use “mail by mutual friend” if possible :) .
