SBT, SBC 8: FAKE GEEK GIRL

Helen wasn't trained for it, but she may have saved his life. Hopefully this will be a victory in her column since "foiling Charlotte's plot" is getting lonely.

In addition to volunteering at a suicide hotline as her heroic calling she might also try stand up comedy if she could make a deeply depressed guy laugh. Some of the best comedians come from tragic backgrounds and transform their pain into something comical.

"Logically, you have to run out of loved ones sometime"? That line was a dice roll, and Helen is damn lucky she made the seven.

Unfortunately, I think I see why the mic got destroyed.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

Maybe, but after today's strip I think this is the beginning of her standing up for herself. I think it will have to do with Melanie meddling with the time sheets and while it's good to take some initiative she's still new to doing the right thing and bound to stumble along the way.
