Ugandan play pretty interesting for reasons the article makes clear. Its upbeat headline, though, doesn't really emphasize that the play almost certainly won't be
performed in Uganda. Still, it's an interesting sign of a cultural struggle. Honestly, having focused my attention on the hunger and war of Uganda in the 1980s, I'm just glad that there can be said to
be a Ugandan theater today, no matter how censored it may be.
