All the stalling and tears makes me pretty sure that Iseul hasn't moved past this chapter's theme: she's still undecided who to pick. And the stress of the indecision is tearing her up.

It looks to me like she's already picked and Theo knows...there is no way anyone can be that oblivious to their wife after that long together...not even a glance in her direction...really? Sara seems to be the only one out of the loop right now.

If not, Theo is really approaching the unrealistic caricature stage here.

His finding out would also definitely explain the way he's staying away (and if she has decided to be with Elizabeth - I don't know. Left field theory: She's homesick. The last comic mentioned "cherised institutions"; i.e. tradition, which is very important in Korean society. This comic mentioned "silk from Asia". Yeah, she's not from Asia, but it's close to her home country.

Screw Theo and Liz and her own sexuality, she just wants to go home.

There's a part of me that feels it's actually kind of skeezy that we saw Elizabeth pretty much trying to push her to it, instead of letting her decide by herself. Especially seeing as she's the party Iseul was doing said cheating with. I'm... not so sure I like her now.)

I don't see anything skeezy about wanting to end the cheating. She doesn't want to end the relationship, just the lies, and that only happens if Iseul makes a decision.

Iseul, however, is screwed. She either gives up the person who makes her happy, or the family that makes her happy.

I've never been a huge fan of Elizabeth. There's no justification for what they've been doing in the first place. Iseul, at least, has some semblance of an excuse - but Elizabeth, who's not only knowingly homewrecking but most likely cheating herself, has none.

While I do not approve of her infidelity, it's hard not to feel somewhat sorry for Iseul. This obviously hasn't been easy for her.

That was at least two years ago. No indication of breaking up is not an indication of not breaking up. Especially since it may have been a long distance relationship.

Also, it may have been (or still be) an explicitly non-exclusive relationship, e. g. a polyamorous one.
