I wonder if he'll point out that she's only performed half an experiment; she should (voluntarily) kiss a girl as well. :P

I LOVE today's strip. It's adorable. Well, I feel bad for Sara, she's clearly upset...but I love it.

Eeeeeeee! I knew it!

Poor Sara..she seems so sad and scared and uncomfortable and I kind of just want to hug her.....Poor Sara.

I love the transition from Angry As All Hell Marshall, to "Oh..Oh...Poor..Aww.." Shock Marshall.

Because, you know, if you don't like kissing a stranger of the opposite sex you're totally gay.

Seriously, though, I feel for Sara here, and I think the art in this one is wonderful. My only complaint is that the use of small text in big bubbles is kind of jarring. It might have been more effective to just put it in tiny lettering with tiny bubbles, or no bubbles at all. As it is I laughed out loud at the style alone.

Can I just say:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

For so long! The tension! The hints! The Lindsay Lohan! The speculation! And there it is, in the open!

I am so, so excited for what is going to happen!!

After the first panel, I was thinking "Curses! He's being all noble and perfect again." And then, I was thinking "Finally, Sara came out. And that was good writing" And then... I was just glad Marshall was back to normal again. Even if he was still being noble and perfect.

I disagree. I think the island of text in the oversized bubble makes the text look even smaller, and gives the sense of being lost and alone(or at least separated from everyone else) in a big world.

I quite liked that style. I also don't think he really fits the definition of stranger. As has been theorized several times on the forum, it seems that this was her test. This was the one guy she thought she might feel something for -- and she didn't when she kissed him.

Heeheehee...

All we need is a Marshall-angel, whispering in his ear: "Mar--this isn't about you."

This was inevitable, of course... the only reason to drop so many hints Sara's gay and then to have her NOT be gay would be a twist for the sake of a twist, which is always lame.

I gotta say, for something so inevitable, the pacing here actually let this be a surprise, and a very funny one at that. My favorite part is the dude in the background of the first panel who couldn't give less of a rat's ass about what Sara and Marshall are doing.

I wish we didn't see his thought balloon in the last panel, though. It'd be funnier if this whole thing ended with him just silently comforting her.
