Alice just told the best story ever in the chatroom.

02:54 Val Also, I am still not used to our ice maker.
02:54 Val It's all CRASH
02:54 Val So then I go in the living room to see if something fell down.
02:54 Val And then I realize it was the ice.
02:54 Alice And there was the MAN WITH A HOOK FOR A HEAD!!!
02:54 Alice Oh, wait
02:55 Val never had an ice maker before this. It's going to take some time.
02:57 Tamar wants to hear more about this man with a hook for a head
02:58 Alice The man with a hook for a head slowly turned to face Val
02:58 Pink_Freud can you "face" someone if you have no face?
02:58 Alice Val called and called for her husband but he was fast asleep
02:58 Alice Hook-Head came closer...closer...
02:59 Alice He extended one of his hands, which was in fact...a PNEUMATIC HIGH-SPEED DRILL!!!
02:59 Pink_Freud and then offered her a donut
02:59 Alice Val ducked and army-crawled towards the door!
03:00 Alice She bolted upright and turned the knob
03:00 Val Val doesn't like donuts, so this is a reasonable reaction.
03:01 Alice And on the other side of the door was...a HAG WITH MIXMASTERS FOR EARS!!!
03:01 Tamar trembles
03:02 Alice Val pivoted away and tried the back door.
03:02 Alice And on the other side of *that* was...
03:04 Alice a GIANT GORILLA WITH BLACK HOLES FOR NIPPLES!!!
03:04 Alice Val felt herself drawn into the vortices, dangerously close to becoming anti-matter
03:04 Alice Because Alice never took astrophysics
03:04 Tamar guffaws
03:05 Alice When suddenly she remembered her all-purpose COUPON BOOK
03:05 Alice With 50% off all anti-anti-matter devices
03:05 Alice She whipped out her cell and ordered up every one Amazon had in stock
03:06 Alice Express delivery
03:06 Alice Then aimed them at the gorilla, sending it back to the eldritch dimension of cyclopeanness
03:06 Tamar That is *not* a word
03:07 Alice "Dimension" is *so* a word!
03:07 Tamar <_<
03:08 Alice Then she tossed ball bearings (65% off with coupon) on the floor, causing the hag with mixmasters for ears to sliiiiiiide into the man with a hook for a head
03:08 Alice And they both died until they were dead
03:08 Alice And Val and Morgan lived happily ever after. THE END

I think this is something mainly Agnostics and Atheists can appreciate, as far as humor goes. (Or maybe not, it is pretty funny in its irony.)

Looking around the Gaia forums (my dolly is awesome and has pink hair), I found a Wiccan complaining that Christianity makes no sense because there are no pictures of their God (what) and so that means there's no proof (what) that their God exists.

"Many religions actually have a picture to show of thier God, Goddess, but Christianity and the such do not." What religions have a picture of their deity, other than paintings/drawings/etc.? >_> Which Christians have? >_>

I dunno, it was kinda lulzy to me, so I thought I'd share.

So the wiccans (Prop. G. Gardner, est. 1954) are going to trot out a picture of Cernunnos, eh?

At least the Bahai'i can find a couple of photographs of Bahá'u'lláh, although to be fair he's the prophet and not the actual deity.

Apparently, the first Wiccan was Pompey the Great. Good to know.

Actual conversation with one of my vendors today. This is the guy who brings me my Chicago newspapers.

R: You know, if we took out all the bad news, we'd never sell a copy of it. Page after page about cats getting rescued from trees, and ice cream socials, and we wouldn't sell any.

NS: Well, sure you would. I mean, fat guys like me want to know where the ice cream is.

R: I guess that's true. But if you go to one of those, it's probably at a church, and you gotta call everyone 'Brother' just to get some ice cream.

(pause)

R: That better be some real good ice cream.

NS: The best. Angelic.

(longer pause)

R: Well, I gotta go.

Forward this pic to any artists you may know. They'll probably find it not only funny, but also useful:

The next time you are asked to play* for free...

* Or draw, paint, design, write, sculpt, compose, etc.

Go ask Alice; I think she'll know.

My niece has developed a strange obsession with watching me play Skyrim. We found these on youtube a couple weeks ago and now she makes me play them every time she comes to visit.

Pretty funny, makes enough strong point, and...exposes how RIDIC the situation really is.

That tears it. The GOP is just trolling us now, isn't it?

You kidding? I'm certain that's all they've been doing since 1979.
