Marie's disappointed expression could be more of a thinking face...she might be thinking about what she could do to land Michael since he is hesitating.

So not only do we have our first non-cheating couple we have our first person who stands by their guns and doesn't give in to temptation...yet.

Well I was thinking more 'not asexual, but still prefers to give it a bit more time'.

I concur. There's nothing wrong with wanting to take things slow and I probably would've done the same when I was Michael's age.
