As per underage problems, I thought there are AU and/or time skips?

AND not getting into fandoms where sex is..technically almost impossible (Transformers).

Oh, I'm pretty sure my fandom has been crossed over with Transformers a few times. At least one that I can think of. Pretty sure they managed the sex, too.

Er... I think I should clarify now, the shipping I was referring to in my earlier post, was actual, real people shipping. That's part of why I shared it, since we were talking about RPS. If you want brain-bleaching fictional shipping: *clears throat*

Squall x Cereberus.

Oh, I'm still talking real-person shipping. It's a car-centered fandom that comes with its own omnipotent being, so pretty much anything goes, and yes, that includes completely plausible crossovers with Transformers (and anything else; really).

Also: Voldemort/Umbridge

Eh, they're at least still human. Monstrous, but still physically humanoid. After Chibi-Usa's Seventh Birthday, it takes something really bad to faze me.

They also actually make a perverse amount of sense. As far as not humanoid goes, I think I've seen Flitwick/Giant Squid and Hagrid/Hedwig. (I feel like I'm cheating by using HP examples, since the accepted pairings there are everyone/everyone else. Poke around a bit and you'll come across anything.)

WELL, RPS....adds a certain WTF onto it. I mean, can you even see the people again without thinking about how hot s/he would be when they MAKE SWEET BOILING LOVE to that car over there..?

And as far as weird pairing goes; yeah, Crack Pairing exists for a reason after all.

Ha! Talk to my buddies Brian and Kirk about that one. I never felt awkward, but as for them....

Otaking: Are you seriously saying you never shipped (or anyone in your circle of people never shipped) real people, despite of orientation? It's quite common among people I know. (Then again, I know weird people.)

Well Methuselahs such as myself who got on BBSes and Usenets before the Webernething really existed probably still think of it as fantasizing when it comes to real people. I've never been inclined to write something about it..because I don't like leaving evidence. I've never really read fics either, much less write one. I don't know about my weirdness level but I've read published horror erotica (I'm a big horror fan) with less revulsion than I think of when I think about fanfics. I remember one about a travelling salesman and vagina dentata. Then of course anything by Mr. Barker.

Nor have I ever been inclined to go 'SQUEECLOUDANDSEPHIROTHWOULDBESOHOT2GETHAOMG' or however these things come about...I'm too SWM I guess. Or maybe just greedy and evil. I prefer all your sex are belong to me.

And lest we forget (as way too many of the yaoi nutjobs have), the argument against Cloud x Sephiroth:
A. Sephiroth burned down Cloud's hometown.
B. Cloud's mother died in that fire.
C. As did many ("most", I think, actually) of the people he grew up knowing.
D. Sephi killed the father of Cloud's childhood crush (and eventual love, five years down the road.)
E. Sephi also badly wounded said love. Depending on how well you want to believe healing magic works in the FF7-verse, he possibly also left her with a nasty vertical scar running a pretty decent way down from just below her throat to just below her stomach.
F. Nearly killed Cloud's best friend, Zack.

And that's just the reasons Cloud has to hate the demonspawn before the game even started. If we got into the reasons that all take place during the parts we, the players, get to see, we're gonna be here even longer. Let's just suffice it to say that sometimes - 'shippers be trippin' balls, yo.

Are you telling me Aeris' death got retconned? Or is this just wishful thinking on your part? I've neglected the Otaku kingdom for too long obviously...lol

Talking about Tifa, when Sephiroth slashed her just after she attempted to attack him (and just after she found the body of her father.) It was in the flashback sequence, and not too many (barring the occasional fan artist) seems to realize - unless healing magic works really well, she should probably have a pretty big scar on her torso.

Zanosuke... that makes for a good hate sex, don't you think? :|

A lot of them relies on smutty smutness, AFAIK, but I didn't really delv into SephxCloud pairing (don't find them interesting)
Or at the very least, AU.
Or a huge retcon out of Cloud's part; Ukefication! (or making him emotionally / sexually dependent on Sephiroth a.k.a Regency romance heroine-- "You did terrible terrible things to me but why couldn't I stop looking at you oh maybe if I just love you enough you will CHANGEE")

Otaking : muhahaha, someone is not a king anymore (ohgodsosorry)

Lawl, it's true though, I got moe'd out of the whole genre after the 90's.

I identify with the specific character in Otaku no Video more than have any desire to keep on top of the whole thing. I even used to play tennis in high school. I was also the leader/PR guy of my specific little clique of nerds who sucked me into the anime world in high school/early college to the point of fucking up my studies. Along with M:TG which I don't play anymore either.

BTW Zano, most of that happened in Tarleton State U. I think I was the single CIS major there in my orientation full of rodeo clowns in 92...note they called it Computer Information Services and not IT then...lol. I didn't even know they were taken over by A&M until you mentioned it.
