Part of me wants to dig out the panel once more of Aggie going "FOOMP" with arousal, but I'll restrain myself because, hot as the art is here, this is a sad scene. On the one hand, I can't approve of Iseul cheating on Theo. On the other, I can imagine how painful it must have been for her to repress that part of herself, all these years.

On the one hand, I can't approve of Iseul cheating on Theo. On the other, I can imagine how painful it must have been for her to repress that part of herself, all these years.

That's what makes this sad. Maybe if she'd talked about this with him, who knows what sort of agreement they could have reached? I suddenly feel an immense swell of pity for the both of them. No wonder she can't let it rest re: Sara. Her guilt must be eating her alive.

It's possible that the woman she's with is also in the closet. I've got the impression that Bellville while not being ultra-conservative is pro traditional relationships and it's possible there's a secret group of women who repress their true sexuality for whatever reasons and carry on with each other in secret. It's less risky if both partners have a lot to lose if discovered.

Noooooot sure why, but I read through this with the assumption that it was a dream. There's nothing to indicate that it is, but I guess I just see Iseul's sexuality as so suppressed what with her "phase" talk) that this isn't something she'd do in real life. I read it as her waking up from a dream feeling guilty. Again, there's no evidence in-comic in support of that, I just thought I'd share!

Long time reader. This is my first time posting my thoughts on a comic.

I hate to say that I'm excited about a storyline covering an affair, but... Man, I just want to know where this goes. Theo will probably be devastated if he ever finds out, but since the comic is about alternate sexuality, my guess is that when and if he does learn about Iseul's affair/s, we won't see the pain from his side of things. I can't imagine how disgusted Iseul must feel towards herself to carry this out. It's a messy situation.

And ouch, that redhead has some long nails for somebody who's going to engage in some lady-on-lady action. Unless that's Iseul's cup of tea.
