And possibly Marie likes Michael? Too early to tell, though.

Go ask Alice; I think she'll know.

That's what I thought, too. I haven't played Tetris much, so maybe I'm misremembering?

And now I want Marie to be a crazy stalker.

X3 Well, Val, I didn't mean for it to sound creepy. Guess that didn't work.

She is already a creepy silent according to Hank, that's gotta be under the crazy stalker category somewhere.

You guys are right, full rows ARE supposed to collapse. If I wasn't scrambling madly post-coma, I'd have noticed and fixed that already. New version coming up shortly.

I love the timing. I was just watching my favorite Let's Play group (the Freelance Astronauts) on their video of Tetris Smackdown, and then come to the comic to find, well, "me", playing it. XD

Also, that brings up memories of my childhood. Looking around for my Game Boy, not finding it in the usual spot, sighing as realization sets in, going to my mother's room (and hearing a familiar tune), and saying with a smile to the person using up my batteries: "You could've asked... :P "

Edit: Also, don't quote me on this, but I think there might be a Tetris variation that plays similar to the one that was first shown. I'm not really sure, due to Tetris 2 being the "newest" version of the series that I've played*, and also due to there being a few dozen different Tetris games out there now. In fact the DS one was the last, most recent one I've seen, and that was only me watching a friend play it on her system.

*While I am a gamer, I moved away from puzzle/action/adventure games as I got older, and got more into the "story" genres of games. But I would totally have a Tetris game on my phone, if only for the fun value when taking breaks.

So, a pilot was teaching a trainee how to use his emergency survival kit. He shows the trainee the lifejacket, flare gun, matches, emergency rations, et cetera. At the end of the lesson, he passed the trainee a deck of cards, and said, 'If you've used up all of your supplies, though, this is the one thing you'll need." "How so?" asked the confused newbie. "Easy," replied the pilot. "Shuffle them, and lay out a game of solitaire. Within two minutes, you'll have someone looking over your shoulder, saying 'No, put the red queen there!'"

It seemed apropos.

The T actually stands for tetris.

Unrelated: I think that someone is going a little overboard with the new characters. 3 in four pages with another being hinted at? Quite a bit if you ask me.
