Great! Now, about my other question... ? *puppy eyes*

Oh, missed that bit. Sure, go for it, give credit, yada yada the usual stuff. And give me the link so I can put it on my blog and go LOOK AT HOW AWESOME I AM to the people who still bother to read it.

Thinking about it, I probably come across rather like Leah at times, huh?

Not really. You don't project obliviousness the way Leah wears it as a force-field.

But I'm dead sure he's taking bits of us. Hee.

Hmm. That explains why I woke up this morning wondering where my sense of optimism had gone. Give that back, T! *amused fist-shake*

Will do. As a matter of fact, in a shameless attempt at self-promotion, the blog is here. Not much to read yet, but that will hopefully change in near future.

Strip? What strip? Oh, THAT strip! Ummm... In case it's not clear, I kinda like Ronnie. He's pretty much what I guess I could be if I'd let myself to really stop to take a good look at myself, see?

EDIT: Seems like the url tags did not want to work.

My name is Charles. I kinda insist on being called Charlie. There's another variation of the name Charles that only immediate family is permitted to call me, since most everyone in school would add something to it solely to annoy me. So my name is Charlie.

So tell me Chuck, how did things go down with Marcie, and does Patty know already about the two of you already? :P

I see this in your near future.

Well then you can at least rule out that he is suffering from Nice Guy Syndrome.

Looks more like Victim Mentality to me.

Danny from Dumbing of Age is a played-for-laughs but otherwise model example of a more aggressive twist on Nice Guy Syndrome.

I can *Taste* this comic. I can taste the bitterness.

In my head, I already have Ronnie's back story, I don't think I like him yet, but I can sympathize with him.

He had the ill luck to be a Ron in the days of Harry Potter. His bulk probably brought about the typical jokes and putdowns. (He let all the Twinkies in, wheezy is our king) He's probably been an escapist since before the semi-recent surge in popularity of fantasy. So not only was he excluded from their things, but now they've invaded *his* things, and he can't even interact on that level playing field due to past exclusion. That can turn anyone into a snarky, world-and-self hating ass.

Jade just seems oblivious. Not in a mean way, but in an "I'm happy, so EVERYONE is probably happy!" way. She doesn't seem to notice other people's bearing, moods or wants. She's got a lovely little bubble of nonchalance about things that's going to come crashing down around her ears one day. Bolded, knee-jerk, one word responses to something should be a signal of "You done struck a nerve, tone down the happy bubbles."

His "Oh.. you're one of *those* people" glare in the second panel, and her not seeming to notice, nails this idea for me.

I'll just leave this laying here for now.

Um...I think Ronnie's suppose to be a guy.
There was a girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good, she was very, very good, and when she was bad she was homicidal.
I am a lizard woman from the dawn of time, and this is my wife.

Or he could just be naturally surly. If we are to accept people's sexual orientations and gender identification then why shouldn't we accept that he could be a person of different moods.

Force field. Somehow it sounds...funny. SOMEHOW. To imagine Leah as an Invisible Woman type superhero..

I would believe he is, in some ways or another. He's been around and people have been around since....how many years is it already?
