Yowch. Ronnie, I feel ya pain. I had a buddy during high school that got looked down on as much as you obviously have. =\

Interesting insertion of the "U" this time, T. Pretty subtle.

Go ask Alice; I think she'll know.

Hmm, interesting. I certainly do sympathize with a desire to know ALL THE CONTEXT for inside jokes, I have to admit.

I'm...not really getting why Jade would pick some random standoffish guy to execute her flirtations. Pretty crass. You'd think she would have approached Sara.

It fits with Jade's annoying character I guess but doesn't make much sense unless we're going to see how Ronnie and Lisa have been friends for a while coming up.

I guess when you want to introduce a character in a certain way you have to do these things, but right now it seems like plausibility is stretched to me.

Judging by this guy's physique he's likely to be a fellow 4chan fan maybe?

Now, now. Not every single plus-sized character of T's is like that. Tharqa and Karen, yes. But then there's Tim from Fans, who's a caring and compassionate guy without being the "jolly" stereotype either. Laura, from Fans Book Six, was OTOH the "jolly plus-sized type," but exaggerated, such that her teammates resented her for being too sunshiney.

So this is the aforementioned Ronnie. If the others Hank mentioned were featured here: http://quiltbag.keenspot.com/d/20120424.html

Then Marie must be the woman in the first panel and Uri is the one in the third. If it wasn't for his self perception being projected onto the mirror I'd just dismiss him as the big surly guy, but there's probably more to it than that.

The third panel is Michael, who we've seen before.

I wonder if the UGLY is something actually written on the mirror, or just a visual representation of Ronnie's mental state...

Nothing quite as sad as watching someone who's sure they're getting played go along with it anyways out of what's evidently sheer 'Don't give a fuck'.

Yes, upon double checking he was one of the few people in the circle who we got hear his name. I just figured that scene with Temperance walking had some meaning and since we know who she is and now Ronnie by process of elimination I assumed the other man was Uri. Unless of course it's a nickname he prefers to go by.

And I would hope that it's just a visual representation. I know college students are notorious for treating their dorms with little regard for who has it next, but that's just immature.

Most likely the same thing that crawled up Temperance's butt, which Lisa just recently discovered it's existance after sleeping with Chrissie.

Good news, Ronnie! Jade feels every bit as terrible about making you feel like owl pellets without intending to in the slightest as you might, by chance, think she probably should. Make of that what you will.

GOD, I wish Aggie could've been here in Hank's Fish School with Temperance, Ronnie, Michael, Dani and the rest. On, how Hank would have just adored her!

(I'm not sure why this thread didn't show up on my computer until after I made mine. For that, I apologize. ^_^)

Um, wow. Jade reminds me of all these girls that I could not stand when I was in school, or in fact, who I work with. Life is not more fun when you purposely exclude someone; it's cruel.

I don't think Ronnie is a stereotype at all, actually. Not yet. As of now, he's an over weight dude who just got dissed by this chick, and he's a bit miffed about it. I can't blame him; I would be. We don't know his background, or even what happened to him this morning. As someone else pointed out, we don't even know if that "UGLY" on the mirror is in his mind or not. So, yeah.
