Thank you, but I should admit I didn't come up with the wordplay in question. I stole it from a Jasper Fforde novel.

Q: Why do elephants paint their toenails red?
A: For camouflage when they hide in a cherry tree.

What, you've never seen an elephant in a cherry tree? Just proves how well it works, doesn't it?

Q: How do you get down off an elephant?
A: You don't get down off an elephant, you get down off a duck.
