[1 April 2012] Quip Goes Here

Postby Artemisia » Sun Apr 01, 2012 9:05 pm

Hey. . .Linguistics 101 was EASY!
There was a girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good, she was very, very good, and when she was bad she was homicidal.
I am a lizard woman from the dawn of time, and this is my wife.

Gah! You beat me to the punch by seconds, lol! I'll admit to finding LIN100 a bit tricky at first. I actually have gotten way higher marks in my subsequent classes (other than semantics, which I hated, but I still did well enough).

We picked the same topic heading, btw.

'Tis indeed. And you know what they say about great minds...

Is it just me, or is Fiona looking a bit on the shiny side?

Fiona eating an apple. Symbolic.

Considering what Sara just walked away from I hope it works out otherwise principles are going to become quickly overrated.

You could've just said "HI!" and waved, Lisa. No big meaning in that, just a simple greeting. Really.

So, I guess Fiona has moved on from thumb-typing her notes on her mobile device. Kids these days, I'm surprised they know what paper is...[/oldmangrumble]

Perhaps, but even that may have been too soon. Chrissie's wearing a trenchcoat, in warm weather. We can sense why she's doing it, but that she is doing it, suggests that she may not be in the best frame of mind right now.

She's actually Fiona Apple in disguise.

Go ask Alice; I think she'll know.

As Officer Barbrady would say, "If you ain't Fiona Apple, I don't give a rat's ass!"

Fiona's reply about linguistics made me genuinely LOL. There's something about her that I rather like... maybe it's her "everygirlness"?

After Leah, Jade, Chrissie, and meh; Lisa and Sara, Fiona -does- look comparatively 'everygirl'.

Either boring, bland, or a palate cleanser.

Nice visual pun over there, T; if it's intentional. Or was it supposed to tease with the Fiona = Eve = TEMPTATION! idea?

I'm hoping that this is finally the answer to the "double date" thing that we all promptly forgot about.
