No...it would only have been truly satisfying if she had kicked him so hard in the groin his nuts had popped out of his nostrils.

Quite likely and since there never was a previous strip to compare it to I'd concur that this is a real memory. I know it was eluded to, but I wondered what happened when Daphne and Sara eventually crossed paths. Not surprising and proof that even with all their enemies defeated they still weren't free of drama in their senior year.

And now that I think about it that and her earlier conversation with Penny is probably at the center of this philosophical day dream. Even though a lot of what Daphne said was in anger she was right about Sara's dishonesty.

Pick one:

1 ) Same reason Sara wears similar black t-shirts in many scenes.

2 ) While in high school, she blew all her allowance/part-time job money on repurchases of Whedon DVDs, because she viewed them so often they kept wearing out.

@Alice

You forgot:

3. Because both scenes are happening on the same day, and that's why Sara is so confused.

That just opens the question of why Sara's not wearing the same top in both panels. And why Daph's wearing a different pair of pants.

...

:shock:

Forget I said anything.

I didn't get it until I saw today's strip and then looked it over again. Descartes pulled the door open inward, kicked her out into the snow, she looked back at the partially opened door as he slammed it closed and locked it from the inside. She pulled out her own key from her pocket, not the key to the cabin door which she did not have, and tried to use it to pry and chip away wood at the edge of the door to expose the latch mechanism. That actually partially worked, but only to reveal a deadbolt lock, not a spring latch. So the next step was to kick the door in.

Okay, I may be reaching here, but I get this vague impression Sara's not Descartes' biggest fan. Just a thought. :)
