I am 1000000000000000% better. It was just a one-day thing, thank God.
I hope you feel less confused, Art.

Thank you, Val. I'm glad you're feeling better, and I feel a lot less confused. It feels like all the pieces have fit into place.

This week I've been in a class to study for a Security+ certification test. Everyone in the class seems to be overloaded. Like, eyes glazed over and brains shut off. It's supposed to be for IT management, with an emphasis on security. Literally everything in it is stuff that we can't do on our network (it's a class being taught to those employed by the same company at the same location, though one guy just does phones and nothing on the network), but it's required to "improve" our security. People keep telling me I seem to be taking it all in, but I'm way past the point of overload. Oh well, was studying with an online friend quizzing me on port numbers a bit ago :) I think I may actually be able to remember the important ones. Like, TFTP is the 69 port :P

Also, did you pass Val?

It sounds like my grandma has cancer and based on some quick research, she probably only has a few years left. She's otherwise been in such good shape and it just...

Whoah, no posts in here for nearly nine months? Though I guess that's mostly due to people not hanging out in this forum so much anymore.

Anyway, most appropriate thread to post this in I guess: Albert Temple, creator of the webcomic Gene Catlow, was found dead of natural causes at age 59 in his home on Thursday, March 9th (source).

SBA lender turned me down because I didn't want to borrow ENOUGH money. :| I contacted a different lender, we'll see how it goes.
I'm emailing back and forth with my banker about possibly raising my HELOC to be enough, but I think it's not likely to work out.

I learned a valuable lesson yesterday. That a 44-year-old fat man shouldn't jump off of things. Namely porches that don't have steps.

It's okay though my knees learned the lesson a half second before I did.

And my ass got a crash course too immediately afterward.

I can just BARELY freaking walk today. Paiiiiin. Kneeeees.
