This week I've been in a class to study for a Security+ certification test. Everyone in the class seems to be overloaded. Like, eyes glazed over and brains shut off. It's supposed to be for IT management, with an emphasis on security. Literally everything in it is stuff that we can't do on our network (it's a class being taught to those employed by the same company at the same location, though one guy just does phones and nothing on the network), but it's required to "improve" our security. People keep telling me I seem to be taking it all in, but I'm way past the point of overload. Oh well, was studying with an online friend quizzing me on port numbers a bit ago
I think I may actually be able to remember the important ones. Like, TFTP is the 69 port
