I probably just want Twilight and Rarity. . .I don't know why, but those two are probably my favorite couple

I don't ship ponies. But I do love the friendship between Rarity and Fluttershy, so if I'm going to have a Rarity I HAVE to have Fluttershy... and if I've got a Fluttershy I've gotta have a Rainbow Dash, and then I need an Applejack, and then I of course need Pinkie and Twilight to complete the set, and if I've got Applejack and Rarity I'll need their little sisters, and I can't have just two CMC's, and I'll need their teacher, and Twilight needs Spike and Celestia and Celestia needs Luna and if I'm getting families anyway I should get Twilight's brother and I can't have Shining Armor without Cadance, and in the end it's easier to just say 'I want the whole cast'.

Oh hey, I'm still alive! :P Life got in the way, but it tends to do that, right?

Well, I'm about 85% over my depression, which is good news. (I probably mentioned that before...) Also, I came out as being bisexual to my mom and she took it better than I expected. Granted, she made the assumption at first I was "exploring" (as I haven't had a romantic relationship yet) although I basically said "No. I know what I am." So that felt... weird, but good, I guess, that it's out in the open. (And to think that day's agenda only involved shopping for shorts...) Also, I've rediscovered Pokemon, of all things, and I'm playing Pokemon Black version - I didn't even know we had it, so that was a double bonus! I didn't even have to go to the store to get it! :)

EDIT: If anyone replied to one of my old posts and I never responded, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Hiya Konaa,

Sorry about the delay. Yesterday I had a busy day writing, and tomorrow I have to go to my doctor to start finding out what's wrong with my guts.

So, Sunday night, one of our cats slipped out the back door, sending the wife and I into a bit of a panic because he was nowhere to be seen by the time we noticed it. Cue calls to animal control, the local animal hospital, a late-night trip to Kinkos to print up signs and get waterproof sleeves for same, lots of walking around shaking a bag of treats, and so on. No luck.

We also left out food and water, and a small box with a blanket in it, on the back porch. (We couldn't just leave the door open, because we have a second cat).

Get home, still no sign of him. Fix the back door so it has a hook on it, so we can leave it open in case he comes home and scratches to be let in. Get really gloomy.

Last night, just before bed, I go out and check. It looks like ~maybe~ some of the food is gone, but that's about it.

My wife goes to take one last look 10 minutes later. He's just sitting on the steps going to the next landing up, looking at her.

He's at the vet today, getting a bath. He's picked up a slightly gimpy walk--we think he strained a muscle at some point, because there's no sign anything's broken.

But he's otherwise safe and sound, and is NEVER getting another chance like that again. Now we just have to go around the next day or two and take down all the signs.

Free, your story reminds me about the last time my cat went outside. She used to be an indoor/outdoor cat, then for a long time she was indoors (neighbors with badly leashed dogs will do that for cat owners.)

Anyways, I let her out of my place on the top floor with the three landing staircase. Somewhere along the line, a REALLY bad thunderstorm developed and she was nowhere around my door, which frightened hell out of me.

We found her on the landing on a lower floor, as she'd become disoriented by the storm and stopped at the flat place with a door and waited for me to open it. And that was the last time she left the house.

Earlier tonight, I made it through the Archives section that gave me such a huge headache (trying not to burst a vein from being worked up) - with 0 deaths this time. Then of course the Air Force Biomech trio in Port Anderson knocked my freaking head off. x.x

But! In the boss battle area before that, I accidentally died, and so got a nice easter egg of changed dialogue.
Normal lines: "Spencer! There's no way out! You'll just have to fight it!"
Rad Spencer: "My pleasure!"
(note: the on-screen dialogue won't change, but the second time fighting this gigantic, behemothic metallic worm the spoken lines change into something you get only for the second attempt)
Joe: "Spencer! There's no way out! You'll just have to fuck it!"
Rad: "Uhhhhh..."

I had to pause the game so I wouldn't lose the battle a second time from laughing so hard I fell out of my chair. XD

Oh, and I'm now finished with my Data Communications class. Yay! No more staying until almost 9 pm twice a week! *Happy Dancing*

I love the new Avengers movie. That said, this amused me:

I wasn't sure which thread to put this in, because I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing yet, really, but it's kinda cute I guess so I'm putting it here.

My mother just told me that my little niece is grounded, because she's been lying about not having homework and she's been getting bad grades. But what she's been grounded from is coming to visit me, which is bad except that she's grounded from me because it's her favorite thing to do because she luuuuuvs her unca Johnny (and coming to visit me every other day is why she was lying about having homework). Gonna miss her, though, until she gets her grades up.

Today was the last day of my Principles of Management class. Ironically, I did better on the Final than I did on the two exams preceding it (no, I don't have the grade back yet, I just know it wasn't nearly the annoyance the other two were to take.) FREEDOM! (For two and a half months.)
