I'm just awed at how many of my favorite webcomics have been mentioned already! Here are a few to add to list:

The Phoenix Requiem - It's actually a main hub and includes a link to her first comic, Inverloch. Both are very well done, the art and story are amazing, and she's all around amazing. She also did a cooperative work with Bobby Crosby called Dreamless, also on that hub, which is also amazing. Seriously, this woman is a goddess among artists. Well, she's an Art Angel at least (brownies for those who get the joke.)
Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire - I've always had a soft spot for this comic and it was one of the first I got into. Well written with interesting, three dimensional characters, and a large, overarching plot on a richly woven world.
Erstwhile - A comic I got into because of Red String, Erstwhile is a collaborative work about the lesser known Grimm tales. Red String is also really good, it's about destined love and whether or not your destiny can change.
Darth and Droids - Hilarious does not even BEGIN to describe this comic. It uses stills from the Star Wars movies to spin together a story of a world where Star Wars never happened....except as a DnD-style tabletop game! Seriously, go read this. You will laugh your pants off.
The Devil's Panties - Not Satanic porn, but instead a (somewhat) true to life comic about creator Jennie Breeden. She is in fact just as funny in real life.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.

Oh man, I can't believe I forgot to mention that one.
...I can't believe how much that comic made me like Jar-Jar Binks, either.

Hexr, I am smiling wide at your story. Congrats!

I had a much-needed good weekend, aside from some sleep deprivation (necessary, as I had to switch to a day schedule in order to get anything done). But not only did my best friend come to visit me for the first time since I've moved, but I managed to take a step or two in the direction of moving on fully from my break-up a few months ago (we're still friends, and at this point it doesn't feel at all naive to believe we'll continue to be friends). I also had a long-ish conversation with a lady who makes me laugh. Little things, but so nice.

Here is my happy thing for today.

This too.

That does seem to be the common response!

These links don't appear to work for US residents, so here you are, fellow Yanks: the first happy thing, and the second.

(Hope those are right. D:)

You people are much too flexible and should stop this immediately. :!:

... wow, and I thought I had lots of time on my hands. XD

On a personal note, my "self-enforced exile" as it was so eloquently put ;D, is only for a few more days. I'm going to use the time I would be spending on the forums over the next three days, to instead sit down and blaze through an assignment that's meant to be done over the whole semester. And in-between bouts of working on that, I'll be finishing up working out the last bit or two of a personal issue that was unresolved (and causing some of that emotional "rawness" I mentioned the other day.)
Stand tall and shake the heavens.

Beep beep, I'm a jeep.

Happy thing for today: Except for the ones that I don't have yet, I've managed to draw all of my Pony oc's!

Also, they were finished up while listening to The Unbelievable Truth, which is an amazing thing.

@Zano: In my experience, when someone says "I'm going to post less so I can do homework", what really happens is that they then never leave. So good luck with that.

Well, I know I can't do that one either, but I'm sure the only obstacle is the 75 inch wingspan.

Just checked- I can lick my shin, too. (I'm quite bendy, though I'd rather have the wingspan.)
