BTW...Valerie, I hope I didn't offend you or upset you in any way. I was trying to help, but not doing a good job of it.

My happiness for today:
After a bit over a decade, I can finally finish Trigun (my copy of the 8th DVD came today, yay! Those 4 episodes are the only ones I've never seen yet.)
My charm-strap of my second favorite Idol Master character came today as well. Hibiki is now hanging off my DSi, and adding a nice splash of color to my all black handheld.
I went to see Men in Black III with the friend who I saw Prometheus with. It's kind of nice to be having a tiny bit of a social life that doesn't revolve around drama, or people that used to be great to hang around with (but have devolved into way too much drama - haven't hung around them in almost a couple of years, now I think about it), or attempts to get a job (which has drama all its own.)
Saw a cute girl that works over in Barnes and Noble - but dang it, she's married. *snaps fingers* Ah, well. XD (it pays to have a friend or two that work at the bookstore. Gets you the occasional bit of useful information beyond "when is this book coming in?")
I have a job possibility I'm checking into in the morning. It's not necessarily something I would have normally picked, but the option to walk to work exists (yay for exercise chances), and I could work classes around it.
Stand tall and shake the heavens.

Beep beep, I'm a jeep.

Well, for all the bad of today, I got good news from a friend of mine. His wife is out of radiation therapy. She's still going to need constant attention for another week or so, but she should be alright now.

In other news...in two days, I got to Goddard for just over a week. I'll be in touch thanks to my computer, but the thing is, I should be happier since Goddard is kind of like a home to me. I feel really safe there.

OMG I BABYSAT A THREE YEAR OLD TODAY AND SHE WAS ADORABIBBBLE!

WE WATCHED MY LITTLE PONY AND COLORED IN COLORING BOOKS AND REENACTED THE LION KING AND WENT TO THE PARK AND IT WAS AMAZING.

She was an absolute sweetheart all day, though getting her to eat was a mite bit troublesome.

At one point she wanted to look at the plants we have on the back porch and got SO excited about the baby tomatoes and peppers and she loved the flowers, so she wanted to sit down and watch them. She then wanted to go back inside, and said good-bye to the flowers.

She was amazing. I was so nervous because I had never babysat a child in my own home before (besides my sister), and I had run out to grab some things last night to make sure I was prepared (creamy peanut butter for lunch, chocolate syrup for chocolate milk, coloring books and crayons, bubbles in case I ran out of ideas), but she is fairly independent/relaxed.

So, yay!

You worry too much, lady. :P You didn't do anything wrong.

My happy thing for the day is that I made $20 in tips. That's twice what I normally make. X3

Having an alright day. My hair didn't frizz up had a good lunch, free birthday drink (got it today cuz my workplace was closed this sunday) along with a yummy cookie.

Got to work with a favorite teacher of mine who I've missed for a while now.

Made tons of cookies.

So today was a pretty nice day. :3

Or possibly I was traumatized. (I don't do well with kids.)

My uncle is out of his coma, and responding to some instructions and talking a little. So the worst case scenario is no longer a potential scenario! It's going to be a lot of hard work for him, but it definitely beats the alternative. I might even get to visit him for a few minutes on the weekend.

That's VERY good to hear, Doc! Best wishes for his recovery to be as speedy as it can possibly be.

Saw an awesome movie ("Le Prénom") with my mom yesterday.
Then got home, and realized that episodes 2-5 of Mystery Incorporated's 2nd season are already available online! :D

Here's hoping to a full recovery. I'm glad he's out of the coma.
