I have difficulty believing both that she said those words and that no one leapt on them. At the very least, I would, and I've been here since the pay days.

But it's not like Penny just disappeared when the comic ended. Any difficulty she had with her relationship with Stan not only didn't end with the comic, but it probably got worse as they got more used to Penny and Aggie. It might have eased up after the breakup, but just as likely the whole thing turned into a chip...

Aggie is the Girlfriend, and while was a bit more conflicted in which side of the argument she was on...well, even ignoring that Penny's pretty much the last person she'd want to piss off, so she kind of has to be more diplomatic in the argument, that's the kind of joke she would never make.

That leaves Lisa. Who might, normally, but she's a goofball, not an idiot, and that'd just piss Penny off on the wrong subject. That's the kind of joke you want to make to a friend who you're not currently a few mis-chosen words from scratching each other's eyes out, or else simply engaging in generalized invective, not a focussed argument.

It's possible this is a result of characters based on real people's photos, in which case, that experiment was totally worth it just for this reason, but....PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT BODY TYPES! Much as I loved Gisele's art, it bothered me that all the characters were such similar builds.

Something else: In places where people might "borrow" without asking, I mark my stuff with a "poison" sign like the one on the door (it started as a way to suggest to people that they shouldn't drink from my water bottle / plastic glass of booze / etc).
