Funny, I'm having Blue Seed "extra theater" flashbacks, myself. Makes me giggle, and think yet again that Lisa is an awesome person to hang out with.

Is the first five minutes of Up the bit where we see a montage of the old man's life? I ask because I've never seen it...

Yes and no. While it's been a few years since I've seen it, I'm pretty sure the first five minutes is himself and Ellie as kids, exploring a broken-down house. I think it's the next 10-15 minutes that are the montage. So it baffles me that Sara has that attitude towards it, it's an amazingly moving scene.

Also, Sara, dear: I see now why Lisa said "hush with your judging", you're coming across as a bigger smarmosaur than Michael inadvertently was. *facepalm*

Temperence's eyeballs are almost as big and Sara's and Lisa's. If we didn't already have the sneak peek telling us she's at least a main supporting character, the eyeball size would have been all the proof we need.

Yeah, male Alice was the only one I recognized. I'll have to try looking again. D:

Also, Sara's kinda... annoyingly smug in this one. I've never seen Up, so I don't really know what she's talking about, but that seems pretty rude, even with her "compliment" twist.

I know it's still super-early in the comic, but Sara really seems to have her smugness in high gear. It's like the only emotion we've seen her display so far.

Heh heh! I think, though, given that Temperance's eyes in the previous comic were more like those of the other new characters, what we're seeing here is a "deer caught in the headlights" look.

Wow. I remember that strip manip but I didn't make the connection. I'm zonked.

I dunno, it really reads more as "picking on the weird girl" to me. I mean, we can tell from the last comic that Sara is obviously crushing a little. But GOD, THIS STRIP. D: The look, the words, it feels so much more jerk-ish. I guess no one else is reading it that way, though.
