So, do you ever dream that you're a different person?

No, I'm always myself as I am.

You hate Latinos, your daughter's gonna come home Livin' La Vida Loca. You hate gays, your son's gonna bring home a nice young man." After seeing this proven true a few times, I've tried not to hate. Except for racists, deliberate ignorance, and homophobes. If I ever have kids, the result should be... interesting.

Assuming this is true, I'm gonna try hating rich people.

"Try?"

I particularly like the 'family' relationships--Canada and USA both call Great Britain "Dad", for instance. There's also several dysfunctional romances.

New Zealand/Wales, FTW. (Actually, that's really quite functional, just weird.)

I've always considered Great Britain more of a mom. I guess the image of the Queen.
'Course, I also always pictured America as a 15-year-old boy who is a very obvious wannabe thug, and Canada is America's little brother who's very well-behaved and sits in the corner reading all the time.

All Caucasian, if it matters. I assume because that's the majority race in each country.

I think I'm gonna do myself a big favor in the future, and preface everything I say with "Despite several years of life trying to teach me not to, I tend to do things without thinking, please forgive my possible stupidity in advance, kthnx?" Just when I think I'm doin' something right, turns out I forgot to apply thought to all of what I was tryin' to do. Think I'll just go find a nice hole to sit in for a while...

So anyway, think I'll check out that comic, too. Looks interesting.

Also, due to some personal issues, I think I'm going to be gone for a while. Say a month or so. Catch you folks on the flipside, whenever that happens to be.

Heh. Actually, that gets touched on in the comic. The normally blond-and-tan Surfer Boy America discovers that his arms are 'turning black' (because America is slowly but surely becoming a country with no single ethnic majority), and has a major-league freak-out over it. It's... pretty spot-on as a metaphor for the 'demographic winter' folks.
