8/22/11 Don't make a huge decision

Gah. It wouldn't be totally out of whack for T to send this with a break up... Belinda and Liz didn't get together at the end of Cool Cat, even though they'd had UST for years.

I'd be super-happy with this update... except that there's still two strips in the chapter, and twelve more after that, and with all the mood whiplash from one strip to another--sometimes one panel to another--these last few weeks... Don't know how to feel... *head asplodes*

They...they need to put some pants on, here. This conversation is just...odd, with them bare from the waist down...

I'm glad that Penny came out and said the three special words. That made me squeal with happiness.

However, Aggie's expression in the last panel has me biting my nails until the next update. I can't decide if she's wary of the situation, or just a little shocked.

No, I think breakup is out of the question, now. Liz and Belinda never got to the L word for obvious reasons. These two DO love each other. Look at how Penny has moved to protect Aggie, despite what she said earlier.

Not the way I'd have done it (obv.), and I'm still a bit mystified by Aggie's last sentence, but overall T. has done the job well of showing how these two have put their relationship together and both will work to keep it.

Hrm. I'd be really excited except my ship broke out from under me the last two updates and now my emotional investment is suspended.

ETA: which is not a complaint mind you, it's just what happened

Yeah, but Aggie didn't say it back... IDK, guys, I really think this ship's hit an iceberg OF DOOM.

Great! Their relationship doesn't necessarily survive based on the amount of mindblowing sex they have!

Aggie's talking, and Penny's listening. That's good.

But Penny's backpedaling a bit. That's bad.

Backpedaling on what? Penny's not talking about college that last sentence, I think - she's talking more about their relationship. IMHO, of course.

*huge sigh of relief*

So I'm with this girl. Things go as they go, she's on top(cause I'm not anal enough to have to be on top), and she asks me, in this husky whisper, "Do you trust me?"

An odd question to ask someone mid-fuck, but I say yes anyway. She nods and smiles, and whispers over and over "Good...it's good that you trust me...it's very good that you trust me..", and her hands, which were on my shoulders, slowly slide to my neck.

And she starts to squeeze.

"You're choking me." "Shhhhhhhh.......you trust me......." And it starts to feel good, and I also start to panic, and I don't want to fuck up the mood, but as I may have mentioned, SHE'S CHOKING ME, and long story short, she bangs her head on the floor, gets up pissed, grabs her clothes and storms out.

My point: Communication is the backbone of any relationship. Had she said, before we retired to the bedroom, "I'm gonna say one word, react how you wish. Breathplay.", she might not have gotten a headache.

And it's good to see P&A are gonna talk limits now, instead of someone doing what the woman in my story did. Although I hope they talk and clean at the same time; I don't want this comic to end with both girls grounded until they start college. That room is a hot mess, as the kids say.

*Kids still say "hot mess", right?
I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

Hmm. As the first strip of the last week before the coda, I'm honestly not sure where this could lead... it doesn't feel like something that can be wrapped up in two strips, even to the point of a coda, even in T's very compressed style. I think staying together is slightly more likely than breaking up, though.

Penny didn't hesitate or stumble her words. A simple "I love you." Totally worth the price of admission.

This is backpedaling: calling their encounter "fumbling the make-up sex". One panel ago, Penny said it was the best she ever had.

So you've never had really good make up sex?
