For being such an artsy little bead-ella, that was...not.

However. I love the expressions in the last panel. While they are, as always, open to interpretation, I look at Penny's face and see unconditional support. She can tell what a godawful ridiculous nothing that video is, but it is, as she said, Aggie. And for that reason, she loves it.

Feeling much more optimistic about all this than in their afterglow two strips ago.

In other news today, Interpol cited attempts by the notorious internet presence known only as "Alice Macher' to damage productivity throughout North America. Current estimates are that thousands of dollars have been lost by business so far, with uncertainty about the potential for long-term damage.

Yep. Nicely said. LOVE the smile on Penny's face. I don't see it as a false smile at all. She knows the video's crap, but she's behind it all the way anyway. Whole thing has me grinning like an idiot right now. Hehe.

I don't think Penny's expression is a false smile. I think it's genuine and is, as others point out, unconditionally supportive.

When Penny finally sees one of Aggie's drawings she's going to wish she'd not been distracted the first time, so she could have encouraged Ags to channel her creative energies into that....

Sara and Lisa's reactions make this. Penny is lucky that Aggie has a friend like Lisa who can take her aside later and tell Aggie that it stinks so that Penny can stick to the supportive role.

Agreed. Granted, we've only seen the one drawing by her (of Melody), but that does seem to be what she's best at, in the creative arts.

Then again, her sonnet for Penny wasn't bad. T clearly didn't intend it to be a masterpiece either, but it was much better than the one she wrote for Marshall two summers previously.

But the film...yeah. Nearly a whole summer, to produce that?
