Social Distortion with the original lyrics to Angel's Wings
"A friend is one who stabs you in the front"~ O. Wilde

Politics: n. pl. From the Gk "polus" meaning many and the OE "ticia" meaning bloodsucking insect.

Shock Treatment and Duel Duet are good, too (I prefer them to BitK)...too bad he didn't do Little Black Dress or Anyhow, Anyhow, and his take on Look What I Did To My Id is disappointing.
Can you hear me boy? Your devil is here!

DANCE was a song that played on our local pop station. :( Wrong thread for that.
DVNO is better anyway c:

Also I have the Virgin Suicides album. I used that Air song for a school project where we discussed the poetry of lyrics. Probably not the best choice for that subject matter but people liked it.

My contribution: September - Looking for Love

September has only had one mainstream hit in the U.S. (Cry For You) but is otherwise not really known. However I'm not involved into raves and the like so I'm not sure how much exposure she gets on our side of the Atlantic. I've heard she's big in Europe though?

Both songs played on the local college radio station and I figured that since I'd never heard either before... oh well.

Id is probably my least favorite by Marc With A C next to Thank God I'm A Man (too countryesque for me). Shock Treatment and Lullaby are my favorites. Then it's BitK and Breakin' Out. Though the original Oscar Drill and the Bits version is waaaay better.

I also would like to have seen a Marc with a C rendition of LBD.

While I'm at it, here's a few bands I've been privileged to see the last little while:

The Comas - Invisible Drugs (sadly, defunct now)
Whomadewho - Space For Rent See them live if you can. Guaranteed fun.
Robbers On High Street - Across Your Knee Nice guys, very young. But that's everyone anymore.
