Katy-Ann and Jack mentioned, a while back, that they play board games together. This is probably a nerdy question, but what kind of games? How much variety? Are we talking old school board games (i.e. what the average person is likely to be aware of and what mostly turns up in mainstream media, so everything from chess and checkers up to and including Monopoly), or the more modern stuff? Does Jack have any particular favourite game titles/developers/genres?

Variety. Both prefer trivia games, word games and/or simple numbersy stuff like Sorry to long, elaborate games like Monopoly, Clue or Axis and Allies. They tend to play what their families have in the house, so not ultra-modern but some games that don't get on TV. Katy-Ann's close to even with Jack in most games they like, but she cleans up in Scrabble.

I was wondering if you'd have any interest in covering the sexual fluidity reported in this NPR article (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129050832). I'm not attached to it, but it seems like a fun way to pull a bit of drama out of the results, although using sexuality too many times would make the strip tiresome.

I don't suppose you've though up what all the characters' best and favorite classes are? I bet Penny would excel at social studies, given how well she gets people.

There's not really a good place for the topic in a strip that's primarily about youth. Even the Levacs and Nick, when they've gotten the spotlight instead of just supporting the title characters, have had arcs centered on their youthful selves or desire to recapture their youthful selves.

Maybe in the next project I take on.

Yeah, I could probably list them all by favorite subject eventually. Aggie is most excited by history but because of her dad she does best in math. Penny is more about history (and she's going to LOVE poli sci in her senior year). Aggie KILLS Penny in English, but her nonviolent personality means she lags during the competitive parts of P.E.

Hey T, not actually a question but http://www.pennyandaggie.com/index.php?p=1191 doesn't appear to have a "next" button on it? (there, a question mark.)

Try reloading. Reload the cache if necessary. I've got all the buttons and I reported the same issue once before on a different page and it turned out my browser had just choked on the page a bit.

What's Penny's parent's stance on cell phones? Her phone is really outdated from 2011, unless I missed that the comic is a few years back. Have her parents tightened up her credit happy ways we saw earlier in the script? ("Well... seasons change, don't they?")

Also, how in all hell do I add a link to a piece of text? I just tried embedding a url and it went all crazy on me.

How can you say it's outdated? We know nothing about it other than it being a flip phone. And there are flip smartphones. Never mind that on two year contracts it could be a 2009 phone.

Penny goes through phones like she goes through summer wardrobes. This is not the first or second phone we've seen her with. She currently has one for her parents and one for her friends.

Do the 'rents know/pay for the second phone, or is that entirely out of Penny's own pocket and kept quiet?

While the awkward "bitch/bead-ella" thing is completely adorkable, are P&A ever going to get back to the (to my ear anyway) less forced banter of 840 or thereabouts?

Penny pays for half of it with what she earns from her summer job. The 'rents are planning to pick up the full bill again in senior year.
