You know, I was wondering that myself lately. I remember back at the end of Final Curtain, there was some speculation that Meighan was overhearing Aggie and Darren's conversation and, upon realizing how easily molded Darren was, had concocted a scheme to use him in Hollywood. Of course, now it's much more obvious that it was *Sara* that Meighan was excited about in that scene. So, strangely, I'm curious about his fate as well.

He got an identity eventually, but learned to value himself more for his ability to be a shoulder to lonely souls, without confusing that with a relationship. He's working toward a degree in psychology now.

And now I have an image in my head. Dan Danforth, therapist, arrives for his first day of work. He goes in to meet his first patient. "Hello, I'm Dr. Danforth. Pleased to meet you. I'm looking forward to working with you." "Oh, me too, Doctor. I really think I'm ready to confront my issues. Hee."

I got chills, man...

True fact: Daphne's last line in the script originally began with "Hee, thanks," not "Heh, thanks." Then I realized that would probably send the wrong message in this strip.

Namely, that Cyndi had escaped from the hospital, somehow traversed the universe barrier to contact Professor Fitz, and used his technology to switch her body with Daph's.

...I type "Hee" all the time in chat, and I'm not Cyndi. As far as you know.

No need for that. She just needs to be skilled with a skinning knife and/or Hollywood style make-up. :P

Poor Darren. Although if there was someone from Campbell's vast universe to match with Cyndi I'd love it to be Keith Feddyg. I don't know who I'd root for.

And three months later, Dr Danforth has turned into Dexter, just as Cyndi sees him. Curse that projection ability.

Lisa's Masked Memer persona has a slightly superheroic ring to it...which raises the question...perhaps a shout-out to the Thunderbolt Trickster again?

While I'm on the topic...

As I commented in the main thread, the mask looks like it's made of tape...is it? (OW.)

And...just what is the format of The Masked Memer show? Is it like the Soup or Tosh.0, where they collect clips &c from various sources and compile them, and this assignment is just a regular segment, or is the assignment a segment of a larger show of a completely different format (sketch comedy, maybe?) or is the assignment the whole of the show?
Can you hear me boy? Your devil is here!

Is Aggie's hair still blue?

Did Lisa shave her head?

And I'm curious to know your reasons for Samantha marrying a white man (I was kind of expecting it but then not).

Not intentional, but I can't speak for the old subconscious. Long fanfics are one thing I just can't keep up with, but I'm aware of their general shape and existence.

Yeah, it is. Lisa figured it'd help her project the right image (i.e., more hardcore than YOU).

The assignment is the thrust of the show, but she's got a few side features she expands every once in a while when the user-submitted content is thin.

No, it's now light brown.

Yes.

Greg Eatroff deserves credit for coming up with this one, but I backed it up immediately. My reason was simple: there's no detail about Samantha's life that more clearly indicates she's left her teen years behind.

Yes.

Did Lisa JUST shave her head to be hardcore, or did she do something useful with it like donate it for cancer patient wigs?

You know, I hadn't thought of that, but it's totally something she'd do, so yes. Aggie has had her influence.

Assuming this wouldn't be spoilery for future projects: Does Lisa ever end up in a committed relationship, or does she stick with casual dating for life? (No preference here, just curious.)

Lisa's meme of the day is so delightfully random. Does she use some form of the cut-up technique to generate ideas, or simply pluck them straight from her brain?

Go ask Alice; I think she'll know.
