Hello T, what happened to Danny boy? I did like him, did women stop projecting their ideals onto him?

You know, I was wondering that myself lately. I remember back at the end of Final Curtain, there was some speculation that Meighan was overhearing Aggie and Darren's conversation and, upon realizing how easily molded Darren was, had concocted a scheme to use him in Hollywood. Of course, now it's much more obvious that it was *Sara* that Meighan was excited about in that scene. So, strangely, I'm curious about his fate as well.

He got an identity eventually, but learned to value himself more for his ability to be a shoulder to lonely souls, without confusing that with a relationship. He's working toward a degree in psychology now.

And now I have an image in my head. Dan Danforth, therapist, arrives for his first day of work. He goes in to meet his first patient. "Hello, I'm Dr. Danforth. Pleased to meet you. I'm looking forward to working with you." "Oh, me too, Doctor. I really think I'm ready to confront my issues. Hee."

And three months later, Dr Danforth has turned into Dexter, just as Cyndi sees him. Curse that projection ability.

Is it like the Soup or Tosh.0, where they collect clips &c from various sources and compile them, and this assignment is just a regular segment, or is the assignment a segment of a larger show of a completely different format (sketch comedy, maybe?) or is the assignment the whole of the show?

Not intentional, but I can't speak for the old subconscious. Long fanfics are one thing I just can't keep up with, but I'm aware of their general shape and existence.

Yeah, it is. Lisa figured it'd help her project the right image (i.e., more hardcore than YOU).

The assignment is the thrust of the show, but she's got a few side features she expands every once in a while when the user-submitted content is thin.
