It kind of was a Swamp Thing reference. The invunches in Moore's run weren't quite like those of Chilote myth. The latter had their legs dislocated and twisted over their heads, and as such couldn't walk around much without assistance. But they didn't need to, because their main purpose was to guard the sorcerer's cave.

(Please don't ask me to explain the first panel. I just yoinked it from Wikipedia. )

This is an asymptotic approximation of perfection.

(As for the first panel, what it means is "IF, no matter what x is, then it has the property F, then there is a possible value of x for which it has the property F". Also known as "no shit, Sherlock".)

The following are repostings of manips that I did between March 31 (the latest date of the old thread to have survived the hack) and the "young Michelle eating red goop" one on the first page of this new thread.

A DIFFERENT TAKE

Postby Alice Macher » Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:43 am

Inspired by Kamino Neko's celebrated "inanimate object" series, although to be sure our narrator in this one is neither inanimate nor an object.

And speaking of the inanimate objects, I may as well repost the series, since I don't know which were lost...

The start of them all.
And long on puns.
And the oh-so-famous can.
What's this? Plot?
I think we have plot!
... Nevermind.

Can we see this in the Thunderbolt Trickster-verse? <3
She could be like a secret archnemesis. Even though it would throw continuity out the window. >_>

This is more of a forum manip than a strip manip, I guess, but I thought it was kinda funny and didn't wanna start a new thread for it, so:

Although as of this post, we don't yet know for sure whether this is Finister's last bow, if it is, then I feel kind of bad about my last manip casting him as a tragic figure torn between love and hate for Aggie. :(

So to make it up to the little guy, I did this Finister tribute. Tamar helped. 8)
