Why are they all shocked that Duane mentioned Katy, who is a friend of his in a serious relationship? Is that like, taboo, to say her name?

She's never, by anyone, at any point, been called Katy. It's always been Katy-Ann. By shortening her name, he's implying a level of familiarity that goes a great deal beyond what...well, anyone else seems to be.

OH. Interesting. Still, that doesn't immediately = crush. Besides, T was just talking in the questions threads about elaborating more in the comic about pairings he considered but ultimately decided not to go with.

So, this is probably a totally weird thing to mention, but I love that the players actually have underarm sweat! It's just one of those details that very few people draw...

Hm. Well, Duane and Katy-Ann becoming closer as friends was arguably foreshadowed in "Suspicious Minds," and shown in "May," but the key words as I've always understood it are "as friends." So I'm not going to speculate at this time as to what else Duane, Katy or both may be thinking about each other.

Really, I'd prefer for Jack and Katy-Ann to stay together. I think they make a good couple, and it's not as if Jack will help his self-confidence issues any by breaking up with her. Then again, people don't always do what's in their best interest.

I was thinking that was possible. It'd be a challenge for Jack not to take it the wrong way, should he start to "see" the same things.
