(Although, Aggie - exactly how many and what kinds of summer jobs do you think are typically available for teenagers? On that note, I worked for Banana Republic for a month or so about a year and a half ago and it's really debatable whether Penny would have been happy there - although with the look policy they probably wouldn't have even bothered with the formality of an interview and simply hired her on the spot.)

That's a good way to handle it. They've got attraction, but not necessarily compatibility.

Personally, I'd rather see them as friends than as a couple.

I like this scene. They're comfortable enough to be snarky to each other even while tackling the elephant in the "room."

And I just sat here and stared for a few minutes at the background of the first panel... Sara falling on her butt seems almost like allegory, doesn't it? :/

Second-last panel: Is Aggie mimicing Triumph the Insult Comic Dog?

Hmm. It's interesting to see the entire crew minus Fred n' Daph (well, also minus Stan but it's been minus Stan for a long while) playing B-Ball together (who is the girl at the very right next to Lisa? Xena??) while Penn and Agg discuss their feelings. Looks like things aren't going to change too much, besides those awkward conversation initiations.

Also that's such a weird angle, I thought they were sitting normally with their legs being their arms just hanging listlessly at their sides the first two times I read through it.

The film... There was some kinda film in the archives I recall. I think that might have been Nick's dream, though. Maybe it's the same film as Stan's film, though there is a noticeable lack of Stan amongst this group.

Also? Asdfjkl; Aggie's face panel 2 just floors me. It's so adorably hopeful.

Edit: Oh, and I remembered right as I posted, but E-chan already said it. Sara's landing on her ass does seem a bit too metaphoric to not pay attention to, especially considering Monday's update, and that it's T Campbell writing this, after all.
